The Contest
LG is searching for fifteen talented kids who will lead the Indian cricket stars to the cricket ground at ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa this September. Kids will be selected through a national level competition that is on from 3rd July 2009 to 23rd August 2009 . To participate in the contest you have to submit a 30 second video clip of your child demonstrating his/her talent. A panel of experts selected by LG will judge the campaign and select the winners. LG will also send one of the parents/guardians along with each winner to South Africa.
Theme of the contest:
The theme of the contest is “India’s future star”. Showcase any talent of your kid which will help him/her become a star and can make India proud.
Eligibility Criteria:
Your child's age should be between 8 and 12 years
You and your child should possess a valid Indian passport.
Your child’s talent should be demonstrable on camera with in 30 seconds.
How to participate:
1.Make an audio-visual film of your child displaying his/her extraordinary skills that demonstrate that he/she can be India’s future star. The demonstration can be in any of the following forms:
Singing, dancing, elocution, recitation, acting, playing musical instrument, crafting, painting, sketching, any sports activity, mimicry, mime, pottery, anchoring, poetry on any topic, magical show etc.
Points to remember while making a video:
● Acceptable video formats: .3gp, .mp4, .avi, .dat, .wmv, .mpeg, .mpg, .mov., .rv, .flv (any other video format will not be accepted).
● Acceptable resolution: minimum 320 X 240 pixels
● Preferable size: Up to 5MB
● Movie length: 30 seconds

3.Click on Register Now Section and upload the video. You need to fill some personal details before uploading the video.
4.You will get a registration number after uploading the video. Please keep this Registration number for the future reference.
5.A panel of judges selected by LG will evaluate the contestant’s entries.
Dos and Don’ts
Your child's performance should be solo. Group performance will not be considered for the evaluation.
Your child doesn't need to introduce himself/herself in video. Mandatory personal information needs to be filled separately in the registration section. It will give your child more time to perform.
Please ensure that uploaded video has a clear audio and video quality. There shouldn’t be any other sound in the background and the lighting should be moderate which will help in better visibility.
Please ensure your kid completes the activity in 30 seconds. Incomplete activity will not be considered for evaluation.
